Award Promotes Abuse of Deaf People

CODA Australia issued this video press release denouncing the award of the Queenslander of the Year Award to the director of the oralist Hear and Say Centre. They argue that the Hear and Say Centre's methods violate United Nations Convention on the rights of people with disabilities, which the Australian Government ratified.
