Discusses the role of Deaf schools in language transmission as well the 1988 "Deaf President Now" protest at Gallaudet. Outlines the role of the National Association of the Deaf as well as national Deaf sports associations. Demonstrates the role of Deaf sports and arts to develop, record and express a Deaf worldview.
